The Managed Service Offer 

Access to high-quality, rich data is at the heart of any quality improvement programme. As Primary Care faces ever-advancing pressures of an aging population, growing Long Term Condition prevalence and the move towards collaborative working in PCNs, data is becoming a pivotal part of Primary Care operations and the Apex Managed Service empowers Primary Care organisations to focus on the so what of the data presented. 

The Apex Managed Service ensures each Primary Care Organisation gets maximum benefit from time in the Apex application to focus on understanding and acting on the data presented to them, with no configuration overheads. For Apex Enterprise users, the Managed Service offers the assurance all data aggregated and presented within the Enterprise platform represents a minimum of a 98% of coverage for all organisations included within the Enterprise organisation every time you login, with no need to conduct any additional validation on data accuracy. 

The Managed Service cost is chargeable from the point that all organisations have had their data baselined and linked to Enterprise. It is at this point that the Enterprise view will gain full functionality with mapped services. 

The Practice Experience with the Managed Service 

The Managed Services allows commissioners and practices alike to have confidence that data retains accuracy and any subsequent analyses based on the mapping of appointment data is based on sufficient coverage of activity completed within the provider organisations. The consistent mapping across multiple organisations allows an intrinsic level of baselining, while the Service building process allows for variation in individual ways of working.
